A detection is billed only once per account, even when you read it through REST and receive it in the SSE feed. Catalog, health, and usage endpoints are not detection charges.

Historical REST pricing
History cannot bypass detection pricing
Historical query processing is free. Every detection returned to that account for the first time has its normal timeframe price. The same detection is never charged again across REST, SSE, pagination retries, or overlapping filters.

Filter by exchange, market, symbol, timeframe, pattern, direction, confidence, quality, and time range. Broad scans are rejected with `query_too_broad` instead of creating a surprise bill.
First delivery
Timeframe price
New detections in the response cost the same per-timeframe price as the live feed. Empty results have no billing cost.
Re-read or fetch by ID
$0 request fee
Re-reading a detection you have already been billed for is free. A later single-ID fetch, overlapping filter, retry, or SSE delivery creates no second detection charge.
