How do I create my first pattern watcher?
Navigate to the dashboard, click 'Add New Pattern Watcher', select your exchange, trading pair, timeframe, and pattern. Click 'Start Pattern Watcher' to begin 24/7 monitoring.
Which exchanges are supported?
Basic: Binance, Bybit, and Hyperliquid. Pro, Enterprise, and Enterprise+: Binance, Bybit, KuCoin, MEXC, and Hyperliquid. All supported exchanges include both spot and futures markets.
Do I need to connect my exchange account?
No. ChartScout monitors public market data only, no API keys or exchange connections required. Your funds stay completely secure.
Patterns
What is a pattern confidence score?
Confidence score shows how well the pattern matches technical analysis criteria. Higher scores indicate cleaner, more textbook formations. Use this to prioritize which setups to focus on.
How many patterns can I detect simultaneously?
Basic: 100 watchers, Pro: 250 watchers, Enterprise: 500 watchers, Enterprise+: 1000 watchers. Each watcher monitors one combination of pair + timeframe + pattern + exchange.
What patterns are available in each tier?
Basic: 12 core patterns. Pro, Enterprise, and Enterprise+: all 20 pattern types, including Head and Shoulders, Triple Bottom, Triple Top, Symmetrical Triangle, Cup and Handle, plus Crossover, TD Setup, and TD Countdown.
How accurate are pattern detections?
We detect patterns using established technical analysis rules. When a pattern forms correctly, we notify you instantly. However, patterns are tools, not guarantees, even perfect patterns have 60-75% historical success rates.

How fast are notifications delivered?
Alerts arrive within seconds of pattern detection. Platform notifications are available on all plans. Discord is included during the 7-day Pro trial and on all paid plans. Telegram is included during the 7-day Pro trial and on Pro, Enterprise, and Enterprise+. Email is included on Basic, Pro, Enterprise, and Enterprise+.
Can I customize which patterns trigger notifications?
Yes! Configure each watcher independently with your preferred exchange, pair, timeframe, and pattern. Set up as many or as few watchers as you need within your plan limit.
What is the AI pattern explanation feature?
Pro, Enterprise, and Enterprise+ users get instant AI analysis for every detection, including what formed, why it matters, key levels to watch, and potential breakout scenarios.
Billing
How do I get started with ChartScout?
Start the 7-day Pro trial from the pricing page with your card upfront. You won't be charged until day 8. Before the trial ends, you can keep Pro, downgrade upcoming billing to Basic, or upgrade to Enterprise or Enterprise+.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes! Upgrading charges the prorated difference immediately. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will keep your current features until then.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, cancel anytime from Settings > Billing. You'll retain access to your plan features until the end of your current billing period.
Technical
Why do timeframes matter for pricing?
Lower timeframes detect 10-20x more patterns. A 1-minute chart shows significantly more opportunities than a 1-hour chart. Higher tiers unlock faster timeframes for day traders and scalpers.
