Research and correction policy

  • Every headline rate states its numerator, denominator, endpoint, and cohort.
  • Pattern-family selection and outcome rules are documented before results are interpreted.
  • Limitations and censored observations remain visible beside the results.
  • A material method or dataset change receives a new version and updated date.

Bull flag win rate in crypto: a study of 6,250 pattern families

Across all measured timeframes, a favorable post-breakout move of at least 5% occurred in 20.09% of eligible Bull Flag families (1,208/6,013; 95% CI 19.10% to 21.12%). The rate was 25.13% at 5m and above and 35.68% at 15m and above. These endpoints describe price behavior, not net trading returns.

Bear flag win rate in crypto: a study of 17,581 pattern families

Across all measured timeframes, a favorable post-breakdown decline of at least 5% occurred in 16.59% of evaluable Bear Flag families (2,916/17,572; 95% CI 16.05% to 17.15%). The rate was 27.18% at 5m and above and 44.49% at 15m and above. These endpoints describe price behavior, not net trading returns.
